Jackson Wang teams up with Apple for the music video “Let Loose,” shot entirely on the newly announced iPhone 17 Pro.
This marks Apple China’s first “Shot on iPhone” music video collaboration, demonstrating the iPhone 17 Pro’s upgraded camera system with cinematic colors, stabilized motion, and crisp low-light performance — brought to life through Wang’s dynamic choreography and fast-paced editing.
Apple described the iPhone 17 Pro, along with its Pro Max model, as “the most powerful and advanced Pro models ever.” Powered by the A19 Pro chip, new 48MP Fusion cameras, and an unprecedented 8x optical-quality zoom, the video achieves a cinematic quality comparable to productions shot with high-end filmmaking cameras.
“Even during full production shoots, there were times I didn’t get what I expected […] so it was really mind-blowing to experience what the iPhone has achieved in this body of work,” the GOT7 member shared in a statement. He added that the iPhone 17 Pro’s technology allowed for greater freedom and creativity.
Over the years, Apple has continued to elevate the iPhone, transforming it from a personal device into a powerful tool for filmmakers and professionals in content creation and video production.
The release of “Let Loose” and its accompanying music video follows Wang’s third studio album, MAGICMAN 2. He is set to return to Manila for the first time in nearly three years, with the ‘MAGICMAN 2 World Tour’ stopping at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on November 2.
