IV Of Spades Make Long-Awaited Return With New Single “Aura” – Listen
It serves as the Filipino indie-funk hitmakers’ first brand-new release since “Sariling Multo (Sa Panaginip),” which came out on April 17, 2020.

IV Of Spades are officially back.
On July 16, 2025 (Wednesday), the indie-funk hitmakers made their long-awaited return by surprise releasing a brand new single, entitled “Aura.” Notable for its laidback indie pop instrumentals and lyrics on love, longing, and “searching for meaning and home among the sea of people,” it serves as the band’s first new release since their single “Sariling Multo (Sa Panaginip),” which came out on April 17, 2020.
Most notably, “Aura” also marks the official return of vocalist and guitarist Unique Salonga, who previously departed from the band in 2018. Prior to their complete return with “Aura,” the band had been on hiatus since 2020.
Alongside the song’s release, “Aura” was accompanied by a music video directed and produced by Lunchbox, shot on a hilltop, featuring candid shots of the four members of the band together. Watch the music video for “Aura” below:
In addition, “Aura” serves as the band’s first release under their new label Sony Music Entertainment, as well as their new management Balcony Music Entertainment. “Yesterday evening’s surprise drop of IV Of Spades’ new single, ‘Aura,’ was an unprecedented moment in Filipino music,” shared Sony Music Philippines General Manager Roslyn Pineda in a press statement following the song’s release. “Watching the music video, it feels almost surreal that these four exceptionally talented individuals are back together again. This release is a heartfelt gift to the passionate fans who have missed them dearly. We believe ‘Aura’ will resonate deeply and bring tears of joy, reminding everyone of the unique magic that IV Of Spades brings to the music scene.”
IV of Spades were formed in 2014 and are composed of Salonga, vocalist and bassist Zild Benitez, vocalist and guitarist Blaster Silonga, and drummer Badjao De Castro. They are best known for such hits as “Mundo” and “Come Inside Of My Heart,” both of which entered the Billboard Philippines Hot 100.
