K-pop girl group ITZY are set to return with their highly-anticipated 12th mini album titled Motto dropping on May 18, which includes solo tracks sung by each of the members.

The announcement comes six months after the group’s last mini album, TUNNEL VISION, with a short trailer posted on JYP Entertainment’s YouTube channel on April 21. In the video, the girls move through a vividly animated, pastel world, climbing up a pink ladder out of a cake-shaped coffin to be “born anew.” Known for their signature “teen crush” genre, Motto is a noticeable shift from their previous releases’ darker and more charismatic concepts.

Alongside the trailer, the five-member act also revealed the track list on social media, unveiling eight tracks, including solo songs for each of the members — Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna.

The release of Motto coincides with ITZY’s ongoing world tour, TUNNEL VISION, where fans were initially given a preview into the members’ upcoming solo tracks during its kickoff in Seoul. Recently, the girls concluded their Australia shows and are set to perform in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Bangkok until July.

The five-member girl group will also return to Manila on July 11, as part of their tour. Organized by Live Nation Philippines, the concert will be held at SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. It marks their second time performing in the country with all the members, following the return of member Lia in August 2024.
