Just in time for the New Year, Illest Morena has announced that she will be coming out with new music this year.
Yesterday (January 7, 2025), the “Faded (Raw)” hitmaker took to her official Instagram account to post a short clip where she shared with her followers that she would soon be dropping “a very special surprise to look forward to.” In the video, she hinted that this week’s upload of her ‘Morenita Unplugged’ mini concert performance videos will include a live rendition of an unreleased track.
Every Saturday since December 14, 2025, Illest Morena has been uploading live performance videos from her ‘Morenita Unplugged’ mini concert. The show was held as a special charity event, as all proceeds were donated to families in Cebu affected by recent typhoons Tino and Uwan. In 2025, the Billboard Philippines Pinoy Hip-Hop Class of 2024 alumna came out with three collaborative singles: “THE BADDEST” with RUSSELL!, “Pakita Mo Sa Akin” with Jay R, and most recent out of the three, “tayo lang (may alam)” with Janine Berdin and Fana.
