Ice Seguerra has just announced the release of his upcoming album, titled BEING.
The news was shared via his official social media platforms, wherein he stated the record’s forthcoming release date of August 8, 2025, under Star Music and Fire & Ice productions. “All original. 10 years in the making. From becoming… to BEING,” read the post’s caption.
Together with the album announcement, Seguerra also shared that he will be releasing the first single off the record with “Shelter of the Broken,” which is scheduled to be released this June 28, 2025. “The words I wrote when I didn’t know how else to say what I was feeling. A journal entry that saved me from falling,” mentioned Seguerra on his post. “In writing this song, I found a kind of peace. I realized that brokenness isn’t the end — sometimes, it’s where healing begins,” he then continued.
BEING marks Seguerra’s first album in nearly ten years, following Araw Gabi Mga Awit Ni Maestro Ryan from 2015, and Perhaps Love from 2010. However, he has kept busy with several singles over the years — including his recent collaboration with Kean Cipriano on “Feels Like It’s The End of the Line,” which released this March 2025, and “Wag Kang Aalis” from 2021.
Last year, Seguerra participated in Billboard Philippines‘ Pride 2024 campaign for an intimate conversation alongside fellow musicians Hannah Jabla of bird. and En Altomonte of Dilaw. He also performed “ATM” at the 2024 iteration of the PhilPop Himig Handog competition, and hosted an interactive concert, titled Videoke Hits, last May.
