The nominees for the ‘Hip-Hop Song of the Year’ award at the inaugural edition of the Filipino Music Awards, happening this October 21, have been revealed.
Consisting of five memorable songs released from the past year, the category gives nods to up-and-coming stars like Robledo Timido and the hitmakers of today, Hev Abi, Zae, HELLMERRY, and Waiian, and wave-making hip-hop collective Morobeats.

This follows the recent announcement of the Filipino Music Awards’ ‘Rock Song of the Year‘ nominees, following ‘R&B Song of the Year,’ ‘Folk Song of the Year,’ ‘Alternative Song of the Year,’ and the fan-vote-based ‘People’s Choice Awards‘ category.
The inaugural Filipino Music Awards is happening this October 21, 2025 (Tuesday) at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, presented by Modern Media Group Inc. — the media company behind global titles Billboard Philippines, Rolling Stone Philippines, Nylon Manila, and Robb Report Philippines — and produced by AGC Power Holdings Corp..
