HEY JUNE! Release New Music Video For “LASIK” Starring Will Ashley – Watch

HEY JUNE! have officially premiered a second music video for their hit single “LASIK.” Its released was first announced by the rising Filipino indie rock band’s label Island Records Philippines on August 8, 2025 (Friday), followed by the reveal that it will star Filipino actor and Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition alumnus Will Ashley.
The narrative-driven video premiered on August 13, 2025 (Wednesday) and sees Will Ashley take on the role of a lovestruck barista with bad eyesight, as the members of HEY JUNE! take on the role of medical personnel trying to help him improve his “vision.” Watch the music video below:
Released on April 21, 2023 as a single, “LASIK” serves as the third track from HEY JUNE!’s debut album Curiosity Killed the Cat, which came out on November 9, 2023. The song’s original music video was released on April 30, 2025 via HEY JUNE!’s official Youtube channel
More than a year after it came out, “LASIK” gained viral popularity in 2025 through social media platforms such as TikTok, leading to increased and widespread listenership of the song. Subsequently, this led the song to enter the Billboard Philippines charts, with the track debuting at No. 39 on the Philippines Hot 100 and at No. 20 on the Top Philippine Songs chart.
Prior to the announcement of Will Ashley’s involvement in the song’s new music video, HEY JUNE! served as one of the performers for Meowsika at Barkadahan, which was a fundraising gig for Pawssion Project Foundation organized by WillCaville — the fandom of Will Ashley’s pairing with fellow Pinoy Big Brother alumni Bianca De Vera. Both Ashley and De Vera were present at the event, even doing a TikTok trend based on “LASIK” with the band.
