Filipino indie artist Hazylazy has just released his debut album, ANTAGONISMS, and is set to celebrate its release with a special album launch event that’s set to feature several renowned indie acts from the scene.

In the event’s official announcement post, the full lineup was shared, and features the rising musician “together with the band, friends old and new, and some of his favourite local bands.” Co-presented by production houses Elev8 Me L8r and Don’t Tell Nanay, the forthcoming gig is set to feature performances from groups like Cheats, Oh, Flamingo!, Cheeky Things, Cream Flower, and Hazylazy himself at the famed gig venue of Mow’s on October 11, 2025 (Saturday).

Hazylazy’s ANTAGONISMS is his first full-length record, and features a total of ten tracks, including the previously released singles, “ANOTHER SELF-LOATHING…,” “DREAMWEAVER,” and “LOUDMOUTH.” The album weaves together an eclectic mix of genres, such as alternative, shoegaze, indie rock, and dream-pop all together for one cohesive sonic journey across multiple chapters that navigate the period of early adulthood. The record is both explosive with its cathartic nature of angst (perfectly translated by the serrated, overdriven set of riffs that slice through the mix) and delicate with the more dreamy, if ruminative moments of quiet (complemented by Hazylazy’s whisper-like vocals on certain tracks) that are scattered across the project — giving audiences a variety of sounds to explore upon their first listen.

Hazylazy first made his debut on the scene with his first single, “Quicksand,” which was released in 2019, and soon garnered further recognition within the underground music circuit with the release of his first EP, The Resentment Segment, and its breakout single, “Juxtapose.”

Tickets to the the ANTAGONISMS album launch event are priced at PHP 400 for pre-sale purchases, and PHP 500 for any walk-ins at the venue. Get your tickets to the event here.
