Halsey To Release ‘The Great Impersonator’ Deluxe Edition
The deluxe version arrives two years after the release of her fifth studio album.

Two years after its initial release, Halsey is set to drop the deluxe version of her confessional fifth studio album, The Great Impersonator.
The announcement came as a surprise on April 28 when the singer-songwriter shared the deluxe album’s cover art on social media. Arriving on May 1, the release is set to conclude her confessional 19-track album — “a final punctuation on that long sentence.”
The Grammy Award-nominated artist wrote on Instagram, “It was really important to me that you guys got every song I intended for you to hear in the TGI cycle. I’m so grateful to everyone at Columbia Records who played a part in bringing this to life and getting it into the world.”
Initially released in October 2024, The Great Impersonator served as Halsey’s first release under Columbia Records, centering majorly around her battle with lupus and T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder. It became one of the most emotionally vulnerable albums she has put out. Treated as her last body of work, its tracks like “Lucky” and “The End” reflected on her struggles with her illness and her journey with motherhood.
Previously, Halsey has concluded her Back to Badlands tour across the United States, Europe, and Australia, celebrating the 10th anniversary of her debut album, Badlands. She also released its 35-track 10th anniversary edition in 2025, complete with orchestral versions, unreleased demos, and official remixes.
Released under Columbia Records, The Great Impersonator: Deluxe will be out on May 1.
