One of the longest running nationwide band competitions in the Philippines, the Red Horse Beer Muziklaban is holding the grand finals of this year’s edition on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the Filinvest City Events Grounds in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
Dubbed the Pambansang Muziklaban Grand Finals, the event is set to feature five of the best rock bands from all over the country, narrowed down from a series of regional elimination rounds and ready to battle it out for the grand prize. These include VDS from Quezon City, Baguio Gold Music from Baguio City, Hilo from Cabuyao, Laguna, Themata from Tacloban City, and Tamad Si Juan from Davao City.
Apart from the competition proper, the final five bands’ supporters as well as rock fans from all over will be treated to special performances from Pinoy rock elder statesmen and guest acts Greyhoundz, Urbandub, Kjwan, Typecast, WilaBaliW, Razorback, Chocolate Factory, Setsuna, and 2004 Muziklaban champions Mayonnaise.
Regular tickets to the Pambansang Muziklaban Grand Finals are priced at only P199, inclusive of one (1) free beer and one (1) Red Horse balaclava. Premium tickets are priced at P399, with two (2) free beers and one (1) official Pambansang Muziklaban shirt. Tickets are available via Ticketmelon. The event is open to all attendees 18 years old and above.
Held since 1999, the Red Horse Muziklaban is one of the most prominent annual music competitions in the Philippines, joined by hundreds of bands from all over the country every year. Notable grand champions from past years include prog-metal outfit Fuseboxx (2003), female-fronted nu-metal quintet Even (2008), and aforementioned pop-rock hitmakers Mayonnaise (2004).
