G-DRAGON Embraces His “POWER” On His New Single – Listen
The newly released single marks his latest musical release since his self-titled EP from 2017.

Sticking with the high energy and infectious sound that he’s become known for, the newly released track highlights G-DRAGON’s undeniable vocals slicing through several infectious beats. Co-written by Tommy “TB Hits” Brown, Theron Thomas, Steven Franks, and the former BIGBANG member himself, “POWER” also marks his first solo record since his 2017 self-titled EPEPShort for extended play, a collection of songs longer than a single but shorter than a full album, typically containing three to six tracks. Artists use EPs to introduce theirGo to EP Glossary, ‘KWON JI YONG.’

G-DRAGON first made waves as a member of YG Entertainment‘s iconic boy band BIGBANG, which debuted in 2006 and quickly gained international acclaim for their innovative music and style. He released his solo debut in 2009 with the album Heartbreaker, which showcased his unique artistry, earning him critical and commercial success and establishing him as a leading solo artist. Following BIGBANG’s hiatus, he continued to push musical boundaries with solo projects like “Coup d’Etat” and collaborations that blended genres, solidifying his reputation as a trendsetter in fashion and music.
Just recently, fellow BIGBANG member Taeyang was able to reunite with fellow members Daesung and G-DRAGON himself on stage. The trio performed “We Like 2 Party” — a friendship anthem from their 2016 album MADE, while Taeyang and G-DRAGON also took the stage for a performance of their track “GOOD BOY.” The latter marked G-DRAGON’s return to the live stage after seven years, and was received with positive acclaim for his seamless performance and innate stage presence.
