Joining two forces of local indie, Frank Ely and Ame are set to release a new single, “Balang Araw,” scheduled to drop on October 24, 2025. Pre-save the new single on all streaming platforms here.
Furthermore, both acts are set to commemorate the new track with fellow local acts Oh Flamingo! and Paham at Kape Benito, Marikina City, on the launch date at 6:00 PM. While there is no set door or ticket fee, buying a coffee from the café, or paying what you can, will serve as entry to the event.
For Frank Ely, this would be his latest single since his August release “Miss Kita,” which was distributed by Evolution Media. On Ame’s end, this would be their third single of the year, following “Ipagpatawad Mo,” which was released in March, and “Palaboy,” which was released in July.
Frank Ely is an indie/alternative soloist hailing from Cubao City, who made his official debut on February 2, 2025, with his self-titled EP. Ame, on the other hand, is a four-piece indie/alternative band that made their official debut in July of 2021 with the single “Guni.” The band is composed of members Zael (vocals), Kirk (lead guitar), Aaron (drums), and Regit (bass).
