Fragments have returned with their latest single, entitled “END/OR.” A homage to the Battle of Endor from Star Wars, the new song from the Filipino modern metalcore band was released on August 8, 2025 (Friday) via The Orchard.
Thematically, “END/OR” is described as “a visceral dive into the mind of someone grappling with imposter syndrome and the slow erosion of self-worth,” blurring “the line between despair and defiance.” “I went somewhere darker than I expected and confronted things I usually bury. I tried to write it as honestly as I could — no holds barred,” stated Fragments vocalist Niko Cezar in a press statement, describing the song as the band at “their most vulnerable and most powerful” yet. “‘END/OR'” is about those thoughts that keep us up at night, the ones we never say out loud — not to our friends, not even to the people we love. And if those thoughts win, what’s left of us?”
In support of the new single, Fragments are holding a three-date tour, including a show serving as the launch for the single and its music video. Check out the tour dates below:

Produced by the band and Paco Santos of VYM Studios, “END/OR” serves as Fragments’ first release of 2025, following their previous single “ALLINSANE,” which came out on April 12, 2024. Notably, “END/OR” also marks the band’s first release with their new lineup, following the addition of new drummer Keiran Tumpalan to the group.
In other news, Fragments recently wrapped up the Taiwan leg of their co-headlining tour with fellow Filipino metal band Juggernaut. It saw dates in Taichung City, Kaohsiung City, and Taipei City. Meanwhile, “ALLINSANE” was announced last June as one of the approved entries of the upcoming 38th Awit Awards. It is nominated in the Best Rock/Metal Recording, Music Video of the Year, and Best Cover Art categories.
