Erik Santos And Kyla Announce First Major Concert Together In 2027

Erik Santos and Kyla are set to stage their first headlining concert at the Newport Performing Arts Theater on February 19, 2027.

Dubbed ‘WHEN LOVE SINGS,’ the upcoming show will see OPMOPMShort for Original Pilipino Music, the body of songs created by Filipino artists, spanning genres from ballads and rock to hip-hop and pop. OPM expresses Filipino identity and heritage, andGo to OPM Glossary’s Pop Ballad Royalty (Santos) and the Queen of R&B (Kyla) perform under the stage direction of prominent concert director John Prats and the musical direction of film and television composer Homer Flores.

Hailed also as the “King of Pinoy Teleserye Theme Songs,” Erik Santos is recognized as one of the country’s leading balladeers. He is known for beloved OPM ballads like “Pagbigyang Muli,” which was featured on his three-time PARI-certified platinum debut album, This Is the Moment.

With her smooth voice, impressive vocal range, and melismatic singing style, Kyla has come to be known as the country’s “Queen of R&B.” Recently, her collaboration with Al James, “GILIW,” earned her a nomination for R&B Song of the Year at the 2026 Filipino Music Awards.

The two vocal powerhouses recently shared the stage at the 2026 Filipino Music Awards to sing Santos’ “Pagbigyang Muli” at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Before that, Santos was a guest performer in Kyla’s 15th anniversary concert, Flying High, held at the New Frontier Theater (known then as the Kia Theater) in 2015. Earlier that year, the duo collaborated on the track “Don’t Tell Me Don’t,” featured on Santos’ EP Champion Reborn.
