Pop artist Elijah Woods is coming to Manila this May.
In an announcement made by Live Nation Philippines dated January 22, they shared that the concert is part of his ilu ’24/7, 365 tour. General on-sale goes live on January 31 at 12NN via SM Tickets and all SM Tickets outlets nationwide. The concert will happen on May 20 at the Podium Hall in Ortigas Center. He will also be making stops in Singapore (May 13), Kuala Lumpur (May 14), Bangkok (May 16), Hong Kong (May 18), Tokyo (May 22), and Taipei (May 24). It will be his first Asia tour and his first time in the Philippines.
“[I] am absolutely stoked to kick off my first tour in Asia. I can’t wait to play my music for the first time and share this incredible moment with everyone,” he wrote in an Instagram post announcing the tour.
Woods first emerged into the music scene with the release of “light” in 2021. He released his debut EP titled look what i made in 2021. His following singles “fingers crossed” and “ilu” went viral in 2022, with the former hitting nearly 50 million streams and the latter getting 12.5 million streams. He released his second EP, what if it was great? in 2023 and his latest viral hit, “24/7, 365” right after. He dropped his latest single, a collaboration with singer MacKenzie Porter, in November of last year. He recently embarked on a tour in Canada titled what if it was fun? featuring guest performers Alex Porat, Shamlo, and Jade Lemac. It commenced in Winnipeg on October 2 and concluded in London, Ontario on November 2.
