Today (November 4, 2025), eaJ (also known as Jae Park) uploaded a video of his own heartfelt rendition of Maki’s chart-breaking hit “Kahel Na Langit” on his social media platforms. It’s notable that despite Filipino not being the first language of the Korean-American artist, his pronunciation of the song’s fully Tagalog lyrics nearly resembles that of a native.

On the caption of his post, as well, Park scribed, “And when the time comes that I’m buried six feet under / And when the worms start feasting on my heart and brains / The one who they’ll see is you.” The lines were originally written as part of a poem that went viral on Instagram in May of 2024.

This comes ahead of eaJ’s upcoming Manila concert for ‘the 1/9 tour’ on November 16, 2025, at the Samsung Hall in Makati. Find out how to get tickets and more here.
