Today (September 30, 2025), the Baguio-bred, hit-making band Cup of Joe have been announced to join the grand lineup for the upcoming first-ever Filipino Music Awards. Here, the chart-topping five-piece group will join fellow Original Pinoy Music (OPM) icons such as SB19, BINI, Ely Buendia, IV of Spades, and many more.
This announcement follows Cup of Joe’s latest drop, “Sandali,” which was released as a surprise single celebrating the band’s seven-year anniversary last September 10. Following its release, the track has since then entered the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 (dated September 27, 2025) at an initial ranking of No. 49.
Presenting 20 awards across five major categories, the Filipino Music Awards will be presented by Modern Media Group Inc. — home to prestigious global titles like Billboard Philippines, Rolling Stone Philippines, Nylon Manila, and Robb Report Philippines — and produced by AGC Power Holdings Corp.
