Today, it has been announced that the Cebu-based quartet, Hollywood Folk Hogan, has released their latest single entitled, “Hobo,” marking the band’s first release for the year, and their third-ever single. As of today, the song is available on all streaming platforms. The band has been making waves throughout the Cebuano music scene for their experimental and soulful music.
Signed under the independent Melt Records, Hollywood Folk Hogan made their studio debut just last year in April of 2024 with the dreamy shoegaze single, “Heavy Rain.” Since then, the band premiered a second single, “1969,” which leans into a more classic rock & roll type of sound. Through these three musical releases, the band has made their versatility and variety of sounds apparent — neatly fitting into all genres they’ve experimented with thus far.
