BTS have released the music video for “NORMAL” from their record-breaking fifth studio album ARIRANG.
The visual premieres first on Spotify ahead of its release on HYBE LABELS’ YouTube channel two days later, on July 19.
Directed by Ukrainian filmmaker Tanu Muiño, the music video showcases the K-pop superstars’ raw and vulnerable side. Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook are depicted going through deeply personal and intimate moments.
Set in the aftermath of a celebration, the visual moves between scenes from the previous night’s festivities and the quiet stillness of the following day, capturing the reflective moments that come after the highs of excitement.
One of the video’s most notable scenes features all seven members standing before a row of toilets, recreating the image first shown in the teaser campaign ahead of the track’s release as the next single from the ARIRANG era and the music video’s premiere.
