Bruno Mars is officially back on the scene with his latest single, “I Just Might.”
The pop superstar has just released the first single off his highly anticipated comeback album The Romantic with the new track, which sees Mars take his groovy disco-funk sensibilities to new heights. On “I Just Might,” Mars croons “Hey, Mr. DJ / Play a song for this pretty little lady / ‘Cause if she dance as good as she look right now / I just might, I just might make her my baby.”
Together with the track’s release on digital and streaming platforms, an accompanying music video also dropped on his YouTube account. Directed by Daniel Ramos and Mars himself, the video sees plenty of versions of the hitmaker dancing, singing, and performing a variety of instruments. Check it out in its entirety below:
The Romantic marks Mars’ fifth studio album (which comprises a total of nine tracks), and is scheduled to be released on February 27, 2026. Together with the album’s announcement, Mars also shared the news of its accompanying tour of the same name, which will see him perform across the United States, Canada, and Europe later on in the year. Throughout the different stops of the tour, he will be joined by a prestigious lineup of guest performers, including Anderson Paak, Raye, Victoria Monet, and Leon Thomas.
The forthcoming album comes nearly ten years after the release of his last album as a solo artist, with the critically and commercially acclaimed 24K Magic, which won seven Grammy Awards at the 2018 Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year and Best R&B Album. In the time since then, Mars also formed a musical superduo with Paak named Silk Sonic, with both releasing the renowned, award-winning album, An Evening With Silk Sonic.
Since then, he has also teamed up with fellow pop hitmakers like Lady Gaga (“Die With A Smile”) and BLACKPINK‘s ROSÉ (“APT”), with both collaboration singles dominating several musical charts worldwide. Both tracks went on to hit the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart, and have earned numerous accolades.
