LISA of BLACKPINK has released her highly anticipated collaboration single with fellow pop superstars Doja Cat and Raye, accompanied by a visually stunning music video that breathes new life into what it means to be “born again.”

Continuing the rollout for her debut solo album, Alter Ego, set for release on February 28, the world-renowned rapper, singer, dancer and K-pop idol teams up with superstars Doja Cat and Raye for a flaming-hot collaboration on “Born Again,” her forthcoming album Alter Ego’s fourth single released under Lloud Co./RCA Records. Three is the magic number and girl power is served.

The music video opens by defining the word “born again” and what it means in the album’s overarching narrative: “The transformation of a New Woman who embraces her freedom to become the person she desires to be.” The trio focuses on feeling empowered after a breakup, and the upbeat disco track is all about dancing to celebrate what an ex-lover has lost after the relationship ended.

Coming off the heels of the previously released singles “Rockstar,” “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me),” and “New Woman,” “Born Again” is the latest teaser off of her solo debut album Alter Ego, which comes out on February 28.

Alter Ego is described to be a concept album that features Lisa and her five “alter egos;” Roxi, Kiki, Vixi, Sunni, and Speedi. Each alter ego is in various tracks and has its cover art versions.

The first alter ego Roxi inspired “Rockstar,” the album’s lead single, and is heavy on rock motifs. Sunni, the second alter ego, corresponds to “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)” and is this free-spirited French speaker. The third alter ego, Kiki, is featured on the track “New Woman,” who lives and breathes the Y2K aesthetic.

Although “Born Again” does not feature a particular alter ego, we’re excited to see Vixi and Speedi in the upcoming tracks on the album.

2025 is looking to be a big year for LISA. Aside from her solo career, she is gearing up for her acting debut on HBO’s The White Lotus Season 3, with the season premiere dropping on February 16. She is also set to make her solo debut at Coachella this April. But that’s not all — she will also join JENNIE, JISOO, and ROSÉ again after two years for BLACKPINK’s 2025 World Tour.
