In 2024, it was pop royalty Sarah Geronimo. This year, it’s the Nation’s Girl Group.

Ahead of their much-anticipated debut performance at the Coachella Festival, it was announced that BINI had been chosen by Billboard Philippines as this year’s Billboard Women In Music Global Force honoree.

The announcement was posted on Billboard‘s official Instagram account early in the morning on Saturday, April 11, Philippine time. BINI will be joining this year’s other Women In Music honorees, including HUNTR/X (Women of the Year), Ella Langley (Powerhouse), Kehlani (Impact), Laufey (Innovator), Mariah The Scientist (Rising Star), Tate McRae (Hitmaker), Teyana Taylor (Visionary), Thalia (Icon), Zara Larsson (Breakthrough), and fellow Global Force awardees The Beaches. Billboard Women In Music will be held on April 29, 2026 (Pacific Time) at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, California.

Last March 24 at the Maybank Performing Arts Theater in Taguig City, BINI were recognized as the recipients of the Powerhouse award at this year’s Billboard Philippines Women In Music for their achievements in the past year, from chart-topping releases to sold-out arena shows. On April 10, the eight-member P-pop group released Signals, their third EP and first collection of songs released in 2026. Earlier today (at 7:15AM Philippine time), they performed at the Mojave Stage of this year’s Coachella, making history as the first all-Filipino group to ever perform at the renowned annual music festival.
