Billboard Georgia has just launched its inaugural global project, titled NEXT GEN.
In partnership with several international Billboard titles (including Billboard Philippines), the effort features a handpicked, carefully curated lineup of 24 rising artists from nine countries all over the globe, with each of them forging their own path in redefining the sonic DNA of a new generation of both artists and listeners.
Billboard Italy, Billboard China, Billboard France, Billboard Japan, Billboard Vietnam, Billboard Philippines, Billboard Argentina, and Billboard UK each collaborated with Billboard Georgia to contribute to the global conversation taking place on the world stage, highlighting a variety of genres such as Georgian soul, Italian rap rebellion, J-pop, French afrobeats, and even Vietnamese pop, among others.
For the Philippines, Billboard Georgia spotlighted acts like HELLMERRY, GAT, ALYSON, Suyen, and Earl Agustin as representatives of OPM on the global stage, as it showcased the impressive variety of sounds that lie within the local music scene. Read through their corresponding descriptions and special covers below:
HELLMERRY

HELLMERRY is a leading figure in Filipino hip-hop, known for his versatile sound and sharp lyricism. From bold anthems to heartfelt tracks, his music has earned millions of streams. A member of Billboard Philippines’ Hip-Hop Class of 2024, his viral single “My Day” remains in the Top 10 on the Billboard Philippines charts.
GAT

Even before their official debut, five-member P-pop group GAT went viral with “Daleng Dale.” With standout visuals and synchronized charisma, they’re carving a lane as the next big thing in the Philippine boy band scene.
ALYSON

It’s one thing to honor beloved genres such as city-pop and the classic Manila sound, but an even more impressive feat to revitalize the two styles into something of their own. That’s exactly what Filipino five-piece act ALYSON has done with just one record out — as their debut album DEFINITELY LOVE! has won over audiences from all around the world — and for good reason.
Suyen

At only 21 years old, the young Suyen Pintor has captivated thousands of indie kids in the country with her feisty, sugary voice and an extremely catchy and grunge-y brand of indie rock. Her debut EP Suyen Imnida has already been hailed as one of the best releases of 2025 and has caught the attention of rock veterans like Sandwich and many others whom she has collaborated with on various recordings and live shows.
Earl Agustin

Earl Agustin channels funk-pop and soul into songs that resonate deeply across the Philippines. His hit “Tibok” topped the Billboard Philippines Hot 100, while his live performances and emotional range are turning him into a household name.
Aside from the above, the campaign celebrates other notable acts from around the world, like breakout J-pop girl group HANA, Georgian singer-songwriter Janngo, Italian rapper Dante, Chinese urban poet Aflou, French-Korean electropop artist Miki, and the Manchester-based indie group Westside Cowboy, among several others.
Billboard Georgia‘s intentions for the NEXT GEN campaign celebrate this variety of artists, not merely to spotlight them, but to serve as a statement of sorts that showcases just how many promising voices there are in various corners of the global music scene. As they described it, it is “a love letter to the voices rising worldwide, and a mirror reflecting what’s next for the music industry.
