Announced today (March 4, 2026) by YG Entertainment’s former CEO, Yang Hyun Suk, the upcoming 20th Anniversary and highly anticipated world tour of the Kings of K-pop, BIGBANG, will soon be underway. Tour dates and further details have yet to be announced; watch this space for updates.
In his video announcing this exciting world tour, Hyun Suk shared, “Celebrating the 20th Anniversary this year, we’ve agreed to hold a BIGBANG performance. I would like to announce that BIGBANG’s global tour will kick off.” He adds, “Because the artists and company have been working together for so long, I don’t think there’d be any difficulties. All the YG staff will give their absolute best effort to produce the most perfect and beautiful BIGBANG performance.”
In the same video, the music executive delved into the upcoming plans for other groups in their company’s roster: BABYMONSTER is set to release a mini-album titled CHOOM and embark on a world tour, and TREASURE will release an album as well and go on tour next year. Furthermore, under TREASURE, members Choi Hyun-suk, Haruto, and Yoshi are set to debut as a rap sub-unit. Lastly, Hyun Suk announced that YG will soon debut a new girl group and boy group.
For BIGBANG, this will be their first global tour as a group in nearly ten years, as their last tour dates back to 2016 with the ‘MADE V.I.P’ Tour that made stops in the USA, Singapore, China, Malaysia, and more.
Additionally, the participation of former member T.O.P, also known as Choi Seung-hyun, in this anniversary tour has yet to be confirmed. Still, the rapper-actor is set to soon come out with his solo debut album titled Another Dimension. Read more about the artist’s upcoming return to music here.
