BGYO are back with new music.
On June 7, P-pop boy band BGYO made their return with a new single entitled “Gigil”. The track’s release was first announced by Star Music on May 27 and was first teased by last May 20 via their social media.
This comes as the follow-up to their previous tracks “Patintero” as well as “Uuwian”. The latter is part of the original soundtrack for the TV series What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim? starring Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino. It is a remake of the popular South Korean series of the same name which stars Park Min-young and Park Seo-Joon. The soundtrack features two versions of the track: one sung only by member JL as well as a “reprise” version that is sung by the whole P-pop group. The rest of the soundtrack features other artists such as BINI, Angeline Quinto, Kaori Oinuma, and more.
In other news, the group recently won the Best Group Performer of the Year award at the 5th Village Pipol Choice Awards last May 22. Meanwhile, they also won New Group Artist Of The Year award for their song “He’s Into Her” at the 14th PMPC Star Awards For Music.
