BGYO have just announced the release their second extended play of 2025, set to be titled Headlines.
The forthcoming record is scheduled to be released on September 25, 2025, at 9 PM (PHST), and is set to include their most recent singles, “All These Ladies” and “Headlines.” Though not many details have been publicly revealed regarding the record, the group’s fanbase of ACEs are already tuned in and excited for the EP’s release, given the cryptic set of teasers the group has been posting on their official social media platforms. The EP also comes in at the perfect time for the Aces of P-pop, considering that it drops just a week before their first solo concert, BGYO Now, which is scheduled to take place at the New Frontier Theatre in Cubao, Quezon City, this October 4.
Earlier this year, BGYO released their self-titled extended play, which comprised the singles “Divine,” “Trash,” and “Light My Fire.” In an exclusive interview with Billboard Philippines, the group talked about what they’ve learned about working on BGYO, and even teased the release of their second EP. “In our first two albums, we were more about experimenting with the genres,” Gelo mentioned regarding their creative process over the years.
“We wanted the direction and cohesive feel to be in place, even if we’re also exploring new sounds and genres along the way. Ang pakiramdam namin sa EP na ‘to ay parang (We feel that this EP is like a) rocket launch for us. We want to show how we’ve improved, how we’ve become more confident, more solid, more involved in our artistry, and everything. We’ve leveled up. But if you like EP 1, then with EP 2, you’ll be even more surprised,” he also teased.
Just recently, BGYO made history as the first Filipino performers in the renowned Summer Sonic festival, having performed in Summer Sonic Bangkok earlier this August 23 and 24, 2025. They also performed at ASAP’s comeback concert in the United Kingdom, performing alongside the Nation’s Girl Group, BINI, and OPM heavyweights like Martin Nievera, Gary Valenciano, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Piolo Pascual, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Ogie Alcasid, Bamboo, and Erik Santos.
BGYO are also scheduled to perform at the highly anticipated Filipino Music Awards happening this October 21, 2025, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, wherein they will be performing alongside renowned acts like Ely Buendia, IV OF SPADES, Ben&Ben, Gloc-9, Yeng Constantino, Maki, Lolita Carbon, the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, and BINI.
