Ben&Ben are set to represent the Philippines at Bangkok Music City 2027, the newest iteration of “Thailand’s First International Music Conference and Showcase Festival,” taking place from January 30 to 31, 2027, at the Charoenkrung Creative District.
Announced in the event’s second-phase lineup of artists, the Filipino indie-folk band will perform on one of the festival’s many stages alongside international artists that include Amateur Takes Control (Singapore), Dinda Ghania (Indonesia), Elsewhere in India (India), mui zyu (United Kingdom), OLIGARKH (Russian Federation), Smag På Dig Selv (Denmark), WHIZZ (Hong Kong), AKIRA KURØ (Thailand), and many more.
Since its inaugural edition in 2019, which welcomed 6,000 audience members, Bangkok Music City has grown to be “one of Southeast Asia’s leading music conferences and showcase festivals,” with its 2025 iteration having over 11,000 attendees, 183 music industry delegates from 21 countries, and 70 artists from 13 countries. In 2026, the number of attendees grew to 16,000 and the number of artists to 86 from 16 countries.
It was in this edition that CREATEPhilippines took a dedicated approach to establishing Filipino music within the Southeast Asian music market, bringing to the event its first organized national delegation, as well as six Filipino acts: Pedicab, ONE CLICK STRAIGHT, bird., PLAYERTWO, august wahh, and Delinquent Society earlier in January. Before this, Muri and Tarsius performed in the showcase festival’s 2025 edition.
The announcement of Ben&Ben’s participation in the event comes after their win at the Filipino Music Awards 2026, where the band won Folk Song of the Year for “Lifetime (Reimagined),” released on March 31, 2026.
The music conference and showcase can be attended for free with a “FREE EVENT PASS,” available through the Bangkok Music City (BMC) app.
As of now, performance and conference schedules are yet to be announced. Until then, follow Bangkok Music City on social media. Additionally, you can visit the event’s website for more information.
