Ben&Ben have revamped their sound with their latest drop.
Last Tuesday (October 15), the folk-pop nine-piece revealed their new single, “Triumph,” on the Billboard Philippines: Mainstage, surprising the audience with a fresh sound never before heard from the band. Subsequently, the song premiered on all streaming platforms, in tandem with a music video. This drop serves as the first single to come out of the band’s upcoming third album, The Traveller Across Dimensions, which is scheduled for release on November 29.
Matching the song’s vibrant and powerful energy, the music video for “Triumph” follows the journey of 3D animated characters who triumph against all odds. The arena rock-inspired anthem is accompanied by mystical colorful battle scenes — truly bringing out the chills.
Written as a stadium rouser, the battle anthem powers through an electrifying guitar riff and strong vocal performance. In an official press release, the band claimed, “‘Triumph’ is an anthem for those who are tired of being tired. It’s the fight song for the moments we have to be our own cheerleader, our own support system, our own best friend, our own defender. Even in our weakest moments, there are times we may feel the
need to manifest victory, to speak hope into ourselves that we can emerge through any struggle triumphant.”
