Japanese boyband BE:FIRST is joining SB19 as special guest to the ‘Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy Concert Finale’ concert, happening on April 18, 2026, at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Paranaque.
Filipino BESTY, the official fandom of the six-member boy group, is in for a treat as this marks the first time Sota, Shunto, Manato, Ryuhei, Junon, and Leo will perform in the Philippines — and as part of a major concert featuring the Kings of P-pop at that.
The two groups have previously collaborated on the track “Toyfriend,” featured on SB19’s latest record, Wakas at Simula. The album includes six new original tracks, such as “VISA,” “Memories,” and “Emoji,” featuring the Queen of C-pop herself, JOLIN, as well as songs from the Kings of P-pop’s trilogy of extended plays (EPs): Pagsibol, Pagtatag!, and Simula at Wakas.
In March, SB19 and BE:FIRST also delivered a joint performance of the then-unreleased “Toyfriend” at the D.U.N.K. (Dance Universe Never Killed) Showcase 2026 in Japan. This year also saw fellow local acts Cup of Joe and BGYO grace the stage. The event is a dance and vocal festival featuring diverse artists.
Tickets are still available, ranging from PHP 1,700 to PHP 14,250.
BE:FIRST was formed in 2021 through the reality competition show The First. They are managed by BMSG and are signed to B-ME, a joint record label with Avex. In 2022, the group released their debut album, Be:1, followed by 2:Be in 2024.
