Banda Ni Kleggy are back with a brand-new EP, entitled Lonely Hearts. Released on April 25, 2025 (Friday), the record consists of five tracks, described as “full of emotion, stories, and catchy melodies.” One of these is the title track, which features Moonstar88 vocalist and guitarist Maysh Baay.
Written by Banda Ni Kleggy guitarist Berns Cuevas, “Lonely Hearts” explores “the story of someone who, despite facing daily struggles, manages to dream and ultimately overcome loneliness while waiting for the right partner,” reflecting “the experience of many individuals with lonely hearts, searching for hope.”
The brand-new EP was preceded by three singles — “Bahay Kubo,” “Boy Bente” featuring SKY, and “Magik.” Notably, it is also the band’s first EP in nine years, following the release of Medyo Serious and Semi Formal back in 2016.
In other news, Banda Ni Kleggy recently performed at Soupstar Music’s 25th anniversary show last March. They shared the stage with other Soupstar Music artists. These included 6cyclemind, Imago, Sandwich, Moonstar88, Gracenote, HEY JUNE, and more.
