BABYMETAL Release 5th Album ‘Metal Forth,’ Featuring Tom Morello, Poppy, Spiritbox, And More
Serving as the follow-up to 2023’s The Other One, it marks the kawaii metal pioneers’ first album with member Momoko Okazaki (Momometal), who officially joined the group in 2023.

BABYMETAL are back with a brand new studio album, entitled Metal Forth. Released on August 8, 2025 (Friday), the new record contains a total of ten tracks, with seven of them notably being collaboration tracks with other prominent names in heavy music.
Namely, these seven tracks include “from me to u” with experimental pop-metal artist Poppy, RATATATA with German electronicore icons Electric Callboy, “Song 3” with Russian deathcore giants Slaughter to Prevail, “Kon! Kon!” with Indian folk-metalcore band Bloodywood, “Sunset Kiss” with instrumental progressive rock hitmakers Polyphia, “My Queen” with Grammy-nominated metalcore group Spiritbox, and “Metal!!” with Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello. In addition to this, the new full-length record is notably co-produced by Jordan Fish (Poppy, Architects, ONE OK ROCK), alongside BABYMETAL’s producer and manager Key Kobayashi (Kobametal).
Alongside its digital release, the album is also available in various physical media formats, including multiple variants of vinyl, CDs, and cassettes, which can be ordered through here.
Metal Forth serves as BABYMETAL’s fifth studio album, being the follow-up to 2023’s The Other One. Notably, Metal Forth marks the kawaii metal pioneers’ first album with member Momoko Okazaki (Momometal), who officially joined the group in 2023. Okazaki had previously served as one of the backup dancers of the group from 2019 to 2023, following the departure of former member Yui Mizuno (Yuimetal).
