Violin-driven solo artist ALL’N (Sam Sungmin Kang) drops his latest single “DING,” via EMPIRE.

Much like his previous releases, “We Up” and “Dream Higher,” the latest track features his signature violin sound. But this time around, ALL’N is at his most playful and experimental yet with “DING,” blending and dubstep and incorporating electric guitar, bass, synths, and rap.

Additionally, the track brings him full circle, harking back to his violin-driven DJ career after training in China.

“DING” is inspired by his viral moment with K-pop boy group TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) during one of his music show productions for his debut single, “We Up.” “I ended up in an elevator with TXT, we started talking, and what could have been a very normal backstage moment somehow turned into this funny interaction that I later shared online,” ALL’N shares in a press release.

A special video for the track was also released, featuring ALL’N. Watch it below:

“I was honestly shocked and extremely grateful. So many TXT fans and K-pop fans discovered me through that story. At that time, I had only just debuted with ‘We Up.’ So, for many of them, it was also their first introduction to me and to the idea of violin-driven K-pop,” he explains. “I’m genuinely thankful that the encounter helped introduce my music to people who may never have found me otherwise.”

“Hopefully, TXT and their fans can enjoy it, too. The song really comes from a place of appreciation for a funny encounter that unexpectedly became an important part of my own debut story,” he adds.

Back in August, Billboard Philippines talked to ALL’N to discuss his single “Dream Higher,” his experience on the other side of the music industry as the head of his own label, and how he navigates the world of through his violin.
