Filipino girl group 4th Impact have finally launched their debut self-titled EP.

Composed of sisters Almira, Celina, Irene, and Mylene Cercado, 4th Impact first launched into the mainstream as a Top 5 finalist of The X Factor UK. Their audition video for the competition show, featuring the quartet performing a rendition of Jessie J’s “Bang Bang” has since then garnered nearly 200 million views on YouTube.

They held their album launch last January 21 at the SM Skydome in SM North EDSA with guest performers Jay R, Tawag ng Tanghalan contestant Gleenette Gaddi, and artist Oliver Agustin.

In a statement shared with ABS-CBN News, member Mylene shared, “It’s a dream come true to work with American composers and producers. Thinking that they have been working with JLo, Ariana, Twice, XG, and more. Tapos po kami (And now us), 4th Impact? Sobrang (We’re very) blessed kasi (because) God directed us to these amazing people.”

Irene then added, “Super pinaghirapan po namin itong (We really worked hard for this) album launch. Kasi po (Because) this is our first ever album as 4th Impact. Thankful po kami sa mga Dreamers and kila Direk Frank for helping us mabuo ito” (We’re thankful to our Dreamers and Direk Frank for helping us put this together).

Celina revealed that they have plans to tour the album in the Philippines, United States, and the United Kingdom. They also are set to stage a major concert at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City this year. “For now, since our target is the international or global market, most of our songs are in full English.”
