1300 are back with a brand-new single, entitled “BANGALANG.” Released on June 6, 2025 (Friday), it marks the Korean-Australian alternative hip-hop group’s first release of 2025.

“It’s a song literally about bread,” says 1300 in a press statement about the song, which involves the trading of bars about different kinds of bread, “from beloved Asian-style baked goods to croquettes.” “It’s not that deep; it comes from a sense of play and we just wanted to have fun again.” Notably, the new single is characterized by the members fusing together “pop sonics” and members pokari.sweat and Nerdie’s “strong bass, dance-driven production” which is “intended to invoke fun, spontaneity, and playfulness.”
