VXON are ready to grow and evolve to even greater heights.
Having been active in the P-pop scene for nearly four years, one of the groups inducted into Billboard Philippines‘ P-pop’s Rising Class Of 2025 has undergone significant growth and transformation — from their styling and concepts to their music, sound, and overall group identity.
In an exclusive interview with Billboard Philippines, the “Monsters of P-pop” reflected on their experiences and shared insights into their continued evolution — looking back on how far they’ve come, while looking ahead to releasing new projects, staying true to their artistic vision, and paving the way for rising acts in the ever-growing P-pop landscape.
Last year, they released their first-full length studio album, 20:20, which featured nine tracks that they were directly involved in creating. The release of that album also helped the sound and direction they envision for the group.
“Songs like ‘SSP’ and ‘Sandal’ have especially influenced and shaped the music we are currently working on. We take pride in the fact that all of these tracks are self-produced, reflecting not only our growth as artists but also our deeper connection to the music we share with our listeners,” Franz shares.
But the evolution doesn’t end there. As creatives, they believe in continuously exploring and discovering new directions with their sound, concept, and even style. VXON have always been intentional not to be confined to a single formula, aiming to make each project feel unique, fresh, and dynamic.
With the teamwork and creative collaboration the group has developed over the years, each member gets the chance to step up and contribute. “We make sure that each member contributes their own touch, whether through writing lyrics, composing melodies, or sharing ideas and insights throughout the production process,” C13 says.
Leading the group’s collaboration is Franz, who is very hands-on with producing, composing, and the audio production for the group. He makes sure that each member’s creative input is reflected in every track they create. Meanwhile, Vince and Sam lend their talents to songwriting and composition, while C13 and Patrick contribute their ideas through dance and choreography.
“At the core of our creative process is a shared commitment to making sure everyone’s voice is heard. We believe that this collaborative approach is what gives our music its unique VXON identity, one that’s shaped by all of us, together,” C13 adds.
In 2025, the group has released “TABI TABI,” “sh*t sobrang init,” and “Dapat Lang Ako Lang.” According to Franz, all of these singles are part of a bigger project they’re excited to release very soon. “[The project] represents a new chapter where our sound, themes, and overall direction feel more mature, more refined, and more fully developed,” he explains.
Franz assures that Vixies, the group’s official fanbase, can expect their music to stay true to who they are as artists. But more than that, they aim to explore deeper stories and emotions that even those beyond their fanbase can relate to.
“From the beginning, we’ve always been mindful of staying connected with Vixies in ways that feel genuine and meaningful. While we may not always be constantly present online, we make sure to create moments where we can engage with everyone; whether through fan gatherings, live streams, or content we share when we can,” Sam shares.
A major learning point from their fans was realizing the strength of their unwavering support, even during the group’s quieter periods. Vixies’ steady presence and dedication have reminded the group that they are never alone. Their fans’ loyalty not only deepened VXON’s gratitude but also allowed them to know the importance of community.
As the world of P-pop continues to grow, VXON are honored to be part of the ever-expanding community that allows different artists to support one another. “Being able to meet fellow P-pop acts through different events, shows, and projects has been a meaningful experience. There’s always a sense of joy and respect when we cross paths,” Vince shares. VXON see the success of other groups as contributing to something bigger, which is the rising P-pop movement.
“While healthy competition naturally exists, what stands out more is the spirit of collaboration. Among P-pop groups, there’s a real openness to working together, whether through collaborations, TikTok challenges, or promoting each other’s releases. It’s encouraging to know that we’re all helping to push each other forward, building a stronger and more united scene,” Vince adds.
When it comes to collaborations, VXON have been vocal about wanting to work with groups like KATSEYE, SB19, and BINI, along with solo artists across different genres such as Maki and Flow G. “We’re open and excited for opportunities that allow us to blend different styles and energies, not just within P-pop but across various genres and communities,” Patrick shares.
With P-pop continuing to grow and improve, creating space for new talent remains a key goal in moving the genre forward. “We see it as part of our responsibility to help inspire and guide the next generation in whatever way we can. Whether it’s through the music we release, the stories we tell, or the way we carry ourselves as artists, we want to show that it’s possible to stay true to your identity while evolving and growing,” C13 says.
For the rising acts who look up to VXON, their message is simple: stay patient, stay consistent, and don’t be afraid to find your own voice. What matters most is knowing who you are, both as artists and as individuals.
“Surround yourself with people who believe in your vision, stay open to learning from others, and remember that every small step is part of a bigger journey. Most importantly, don’t lose sight of the love and passion that brought you here in the first place,” Franz says.
