It’s officially Fête De La Musique season once more.
For its 31st year in the Philippines this 2025, Fête De La Musique — or World Music Day — is set to become an even bigger and better celebration of Filipino music. This year, the event is united by its theme of “Un Monde” (One World), highlighting the ability of music to establish connections like no other across different cultures.
“We are incredibly excited to bring ‘Un Monde’ to life for our 31st Fête de la Musique celebration,” said Xavier Leroux, Executive Director of Alliance Francaise de Manille, in a press statement, noting how “music has an unparalleled ability to transcend borders and connect people.” “This year, we aim to showcase how Filipino music resonates globally, truly making us all ‘One World’ through melody and rhythm.”

Fête De La Musique Philippines — or simply, Fête PH — was first established in 1994 as the Philippine iteration of the long-standing music event that originated in France in 1982. Fête PH began in 1994, kicking off what would eventually become a grand annual celebration of local music with a single venue and less than 50 people in attendance. Now, more than three decades later, Fête PH expands further, showcasing multiple stages across Metro Manila and across the entire Philippines, with countless acts from various genres putting on unique shows for everyone.
The best part? All of these shows are completely free. You just simply need to show up and enjoy the music with your family, friends, and other loved ones.
So, get you ready for the biggest celebration of music there is this year, here’s what you can expect at Fête PH 2025.
Kick off Fête PH 2025 with the exciting Ember Stage lineup
To get everyone properly warmed up this year, Fête PH has teamed up with Shangri-La Plaza for a special brand-new stage, dubbed the Ember Stage.
Promising “performances that flicker with warmth, intimacy, and artistic fire with acoustic, jazz, chillout, and ambient music,” the Ember Stage is happening on June 13, 2025 (Friday) at the Grand Atrium of Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong City, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM (PHT).
The show will be headlined by “Ikot” hitmakers Over October, who will be joined by R&B singer-songwriter Jason Dhakal, R&B-pop artist jikamarie, alternative pop band Any Name’s Okay, city pop quintet ALYSON, Manila sound singer Shanne Dandan, as well as DJ and producer HOEST.

The star-studded Fête PH 2025 Main Stage
Much like every year, the primary attraction of Fête De La Musique Philippines is its Main Stage.
This 2025, the Fête PH Main Stage is moving to a new location within Makati City, as it is set to be held at the Ayala Triangle Gardens on June 21 (Saturday). Embracing Fête PH’s spirit, the main stage once again promises a diverse musical experience, courtesy of a star-studded lineup of artists. This includes Filipino acts Ely Buendia and The Methodists, Armi Millare, James Reid, Janine, and The Ridleys, as well as special collaboration sets from Brass Pas Pas Pas Pas with Leanne & Naara, and Tarsius with ena mori. In addition, off-stage performances are also happening, with Bling Bling Papaya, Frank Ely, Marian Carmel, and Zsaris delivering their own sets.
Meanwhile, international acts will also be joining the fun, with Japanese singer-songwriter Ito Kashitaro and French jazz/house trio Emile Londonien also set to grace this year’s main stage. In addition, Emile Londonien will also be be performing an intimate set June 20, 2025 (Friday) for the French Stage at Long Bar in Raffles Makati.
