Nothing kicks off a long weekend better than live music.
On an electric night (August 22, 2025) brimming with raw talent, soul-stirring performances, and the kind of energy only Filipino artistry can ignite, Billboard Philippines X returned with another immersive experience that showcase the best of local music and culture. Titled Billboard Philippines X Midnight Tunes, the event — held in partnership with ZYN — featured three of the most exciting artists on the scene right now: Rob Deniel, Earl Agustin, and Amiel Sol — for a performance that had the crowd grooving, singing, and feeling every moment.
Held at Makati’s Baked Studios, Billboard Philippines X Midnight Tunes brought together fans from all over the city for an intimate celebration of music and community.

Anne Bernisca, Publisher of Billboard Philippines, opened the night by welcoming the audience into what is the start of a new chapter for Billboard Philippines. “Our mission is simple: to connect people through music — especially by championing our homegrown Filipino talents. [Billboard Philippines X] marks a new chapter for us, one where we blend sound, style, and community into a single experience.”
Echoing the same spirit was Bret Jackson, Billboard Philippines’ Chief of Editorial Content, who said, “Billboard Philippines was built on a simple belief: music shapes culture, and OPM deserves a global stage. We’re here to push that forward — not tomorrow, not someday, but right now, right here.”

The evening kicked off with Amiel Sol, who brought a ray of sunshine and warmth on an otherwise cold and rainy night; his smooth vocals and laid-back presence turned the venue into a haven of warmth and calm. He began with “Di Na Akin” and “Nahanap Kita,” immediately drawing the audience closer, as if inviting them into his own little world. By the time he reached his closer, his No. 1 hit “Sa Bawat Sandali,” the room swayed in unison, entranced by his soothing melodies and storytelling.

Opening with “Dito Sakin,” his soulful vocals quickly filled the room, enchanting the crowd in an instant. He followed with his chart-breaking tracks like “Tibok,” which had fans singing along word for word, before surprising the audience with a medley of “Tayong Dalawa” and “Aya.” With the crowd singing right back to him, his set left the crowd exhilarated for what the rest of the evening had in store.
