First on the soundcheck roundup was KAIA, who approached rehearsal with the same intensity as their main performance. From the irresistible “TANGA” to the uplifting “KAYA,” Angela, Charice, Sophia, Alexa, and Charlotte showcased live vocal prowess that could rival their studio recordings. Even while rehearsing choreography, their expressions never faltered — committing fully despite repeated runs to refine minor details in blocking.

When G22 took the stage, the energy in the room shifted. Following a meticulous stretching and warm-up session with the A Team dance troupe, AJ, Alfea, and Jaz commanded the space with effortless charisma. Even in casual wear and sunglasses, their presence filled the venue, so much so that murmurs among staff noted, “I feel like I’m at a concert,” as fans fanned them with bursts of wind for added dramatic effect.

Meanwhile, ALAMAT — Taneo, Mo, Jao, Tomás, R-Ji, and Alas — brought an entirely different layer of artistry to rehearsals. Their session was marked by an impressive hands-on approach: carefully calibrating belts and high notes for their in-ears, huddling mid-soundcheck to discuss vocal layering, and adjusting choreography to adapt fluidly to the unique circular stage. Their attention to detail turned what could have been routine practice into a collaborative act of creation.

During rehearsals, what becomes most striking is how P-pop groups approach preparation not as an obligation, but as an extension of their artistry.
