A stellar night of great music, high energy, and the P-pop fandom took over Makati.
On Friday (September 19, 2025), Billboard Philippines treated guests and P-pop fans to an event that was truly off the charts and out of this world. The Billboard X COSMOS event, presented in partnership with Zyn, brought together three of the most thrilling and dynamic acts in the P-pop scene — G22, KAIA, and ALAMAT, stars of the P-pop Rising Class 2025, delivering a unique flavor of what P-pop has to offer.
Lighting up Baked Studios in Makati with a constellation of performances, the evening officially kicked off with Anne Bernisca, Publisher of Billboard Philippines, who reminded everyone that music is more than just sound. “It moves us, lifts us, and creates moments that feel larger than life (sometimes even cosmic),” she said.

“[Billboard X] isn’t just another event; it’s an experience where sound, style, and community come together in one space. And because you’re here, you’re now part of our growing community,” she added.
Bret Jackson, Chief of Editorial Content at Billboard Philippines, hyped up the crowd for the night ahead. “Tonight, we’ve put together a truly special experience — a curated showcase of hyperpop, dance, bubblegum pop, rap, and R&B, all brought to life by some of the biggest names in P-POP today,” he shared.

The evening’s lineup began with KAIA, who represented the Philippines on the global stage as official delegates at the ASEAN-Korea Music Festival and ASEAN-India Music Festival in 2024. Angela, Charice, Sophia, Alexa, and Charlotte captivated fans with a memorable set, opening with the infectious hit “TANGA”, which brought all the ZAIA, their fandom, singing, dancing, and fully immersed in the electrifying energy.

The bubblegum pop energy carried on with “Walang Biruan,” a track about openly declaring one’s feelings, which had ZAIA and the crowd who could relate singing and screaming along in unison. “DALAWA” slowed the tempo, exploring the vulnerability of hidden feelings and the fear of rejection, creating a more intimate moment with the crowd. They closed their set with “KAYA,” a high-energy anthem that ensured no one was letting them leave the stage without giving their all.
Next, ALAMAT, one-half of the cover stars of the June 2025 Billboard Philippines P-pop issue, took the stage. Known for representing the diverse cultures of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, Magiliw were in for a treat as members Taneo, Mo, Jao, Tomás, R-Ji, and Alas kicked off with “Dayang,” a celebration of the beauty and folklore of Mindanao. This set the stage for “Day And Night,” a track that talks about the thrills and enchantment of a new love — which is what those in the crowd must have felt witnessing their live performance for the first time.

“Sa Panaginip Na Lang” and “Noli” showcased ALAMAT’s vocal prowess, with each member’s solos resonating deeply with the audience. They closed their set with the fan-favorite “Maharani,” which only proved that the crowd was treated to a great time with their all-out energy and stage presence.

The night didn’t lose momentum, of course. Known for their explosive performances both locally and internationally, the Female Alphas of P-pop, G22, took over the stage with unbridled intensity. Their fierce energy ignited the crowd and the Bullets as they opened with their powerful anthem, “Pa-Pa-Pa-Palaban.”

As midnight drew closer, the fans showed no signs of slowing down, singing, dancing, and cheering with the same excitement as when the event began. The momentum carried on with “Filipina Queen,” with the crowd rapping and dancing along to the performance of AJ, Alfea, and Jaz.
Last but definitely not least, G22 closed their set with “Bang,” their 2022 debut single. The performance showcased why they’re known as the alphas of P-pop and demonstrated their exceptional live energy and stage presence.
