This month, Mayday Parade are returning to Manila for a very special show.

Happening this September 24, 2025 (Wednesday) at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, the American pop-punk icons are coming back to the Philippines as part of their their 20th anniversary world tour, dubbed ‘Three Cheers For 20 Years.’ As the “Jamie All Over” hitmakers make their highly anticipated return to the country this month, now is the time get ready to sing and move along to their hits, fan-favorites, and deep cuts from the past two decades.

With this, Billboard Philippines has curated nine must-listen songs from Mayday Parade that span their entire career, to help you get ready for the show.

“Jersey”

Kicking things off is a song from Mayday Parade’s debut album A Lesson In Romantics. Released in 2007, “Jersey” serves as the album’s fourth track, detailing the perspective of someone mourning the end of a relationship and wondering if their significant other lied to them about their love.

“Kids In Love”

Up next is a single from Mayday Parade’s sophomore full-length record Anywhere But Here. Released in 2010 as the album’s second single, “Kids in Love” is a nostalgia-filled track that sees someone bittersweetly reminiscing about a young love that still affects them deeply to this day.

“Stay”

Here’s an emotive ballad from Mayday Parade’s self-titled album. Released in 2011 and serving as the record’s sixth track, “Stay” is an honest confession of the feelings that come with the fears and worries of possibly losing someone dear to us.

“Hold Onto Me”

The next song is a track from Mayday Parade’s fourth studio album Monsters In The Closet. Release in October 2013, “Hold Onto Me” serves as the record’s eleventh track, notable for it’s laid-back sound. It details two individuals in a relationship confessing and recognizing their individual flaws and shortcomings while accepting the other’s, with both of them ultimately choosing to hold on to each other in the name of love.

“Hollow”

This song is from Mayday Parade’s fifth full-length record Black Lines, which was released in 2015. Serving as the album’s third track, “Hollow” uses the analogy of an assassin-for-hire to describe the scarring actions made by a former lover who wronged the singer.

“Looks Red, Tastes Blue”

Up next is a song from Mayday Parade’s sixth album, Sunnyland. Released in 2018, “Looks Red, Tastes Blue” is notable for its laid-back pop-punk instrumentals and lyrics detailing someone dealing with the grief that comes with the loss of a loved one.

Notably, vocalist Derek Sanders revealed before that the song was initially written in 2014 “about a friend who had a double lung transplant” while he “was 3000 miles away.” Initially set to be tracked for Black Lines, the song didn’t make the cut and was later rewritten by Sanders following the passing of his grandmother.

“Golden Days”

Released on October 29, 2021 “Golden Days” is the fourth single of Mayday Parade’s latest full-length record to date, entitled What It Means To Fall Apart. It’s an upbeat track that talks of trying one’s best to hold onto hope and a brighter tomorrow, even in the face of being used to the gloom of constant personal despair.

“Who’s Laughing Now”

Up next is a track from Sweet — the first set of songs from a three-part album project by Mayday Parade. Released in April 2025, “Who’s Laughing Now” is the third track from Sweet, notably featuring fellow American pop-punk favorites Knuckle Puck. Its lyrics that talk of rising above and finding a brighter future in spite of past trauma from a younger age.

“Amber Lynn”

Finally, as a bonus track on this list, we have a song from Mayday Parade’s 2011 acoustic EP Valdosta. Serving as the record’s opening track, “Amber Lynn” is a confessional tune, which sees someone yearning and longing for a special someone who, essentially, “saved [their] life.”
