Philippine entertainment powerhouse Viva Communications Inc. has officially entered into a strategic partnership with South Korea-based Milagro, an integrated entertainment company known for its comprehensive artist management model, which spans scouting, training, and business development.
The agreement, signed at Viva’s headquarters, signals a major move toward deeper cultural collaboration between the Philippines and South Korea. Under the pact, Viva will represent Milagro’s Korean talent in the Philippines while facilitating opportunities for Filipino artists to break into the Korean market.
Leading the signing were Viva Group chairman and CEO Vicente “Boss Vic” del Rosario Jr., Milagro Korea COO Yoo Jisang, Viva Artists Agency president and COO Veronique Del Rosario-Corpus, and Viva Records president Verb Del Rosario. Under the new partnership, the first joint venture will bring together Filipina singer-actress Aubrey Caraan and South Korean singer-actor Daewon Lee, who are collaborating on a cross-border recording project that is currently in production.
Caraan, whose breakout single “How You Feel” charted on multiple Spotify Philippines playlists, also stars in the Viva One original series Avenues of the Diamond. Lee, a multifaceted entertainer and former member of the idol group OFFROAD, rose to fame as a contestant on Mr. Trot and holds an undefeated MMA record under Angel’s Fighting Championship.

Viva and Milagro’s partnership is the latest cross-cultural partnership between the Philippine and South Korean entertainment industry, following the recent expansion of South Korean entertainment label, ABYSS Company, into the Philippine market. The latter recently signed Filipino singer-songwriter MATÉO under their roster, showcasing the global appeal of Filipino talent on the international stage.
However, both Viva and Milagro have signaled long-term plans to develop and amplify the wave of emerging talent in Asia’s two dynamic entertainment landscapes, which is set to blur the borders between K-pop and OPM — crafting new opportunities for artistic innovation for both the local and global music industry.
