After recently establishing its roots here in the Philippines, global music company ONErpm continues to cement its position in Southeast Asia with an aggressive expansion into the country via a high-profile partnership with independent label Offshore Music and a slate of rising domestic talent.
The new alliance sees ONErpm joining forces with Offshore Music, which serves as home to several influential names on the scene, like Ely Buendia, ena mori, ALYSON, and M1ss Jade So –– further embedding the company within the region’s creative core. Buendia, who also acts as Offshore Music’s CEO and Chairman, shared the ethos driving the collaboration, noting the key factor of Offshore Music’s decision is ONErpm’s alignment with the label’s values, particularly around sustainability, transparency, and fostering genuine communities of music.
The relationship was brokered by Alyssa “Pebs” Pe Benito, ONErpm’s Manila-based Marketing Manager, whose longstanding ties to the indie label proved instrumental in sealing the deal. For Pe Benito, the partnership is emblematic of a shared mission to build a music ecosystem that values integrity, creativity, and artist-first development. “I am grateful for their trust in me that resulted in this partnership, enabling and providing support to artists through innovative, forward-thinking strategies that remain true to their craft, ensuring that music continues to thrive and evolve with integrity in a rapidly changing industry landscape,” she shared via an official press statement.
According to Audry Dionisio, General Manager at Offshore, the partnership served as the logical next step in scaling the label’s mission without compromising its values. “We have worked with Alyssa Pe Benito, ONErpm’s Marketing Manager, before, and with our working experience with her and ONErpm’s commitment to nurturing artist growth, we saw an opportunity to expand the label’s vision on a global stage while continuing to honor the partnerships that brought us here.”
This move comes as ONErpm accelerates its investment in Filipino talent, with new signings spanning multiple genres and viral momentum. Among them is Manila-based alt-rock band fitterkarma, whose track “Pag-ibig ay Kanibalismo II” gained traction across a variety of streaming and social media platforms. Also joining the roster is SSUNN, a genre-bending group influenced by Japanese and Korean alt-rock. “We’re ready to help our artists reach new heights,” said ONErpm A&R rep Presh Ong. “We can’t wait for the world to see and hear what they’re truly capable of.”
In celebration of their expanded roster, ONErpm is set to host the inaugural ONErpm Night on October 7, 2025, at Sari-Sari Bar in Makati. The showcase will feature live sets from fitterkarma, SSUNN, Diego’s Scenes, UNO, and El Manu, with tickets priced at Php 350.
As ONErpm continues to scale its Asia-Pacific presence, plans are still in motion to further establish a dedicated local office and content studio in the Philippines. “ONErpm will continue to expand our local offerings and services as we move into the new year, with the establishment of our local office and content studio,” said Isaac Miranda, ONErpm’s APAC Director.
