BINI have just renewed their contract with Star Music and ABS-CBN.

The Nation’s Girl Group first signed with the powerhouse network all the way back in 2020, and five years later –– Jhoanna, Mikha, Colet, Aiah, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, and Sheena renewed their contract at ABS-CBN’s Dolphy Theater today (February 4, 2025). Present at the contract signing were several ABS-CBN executives, including chairman Mark L. Lopez, network president and CEO Carlo L. Katigbak, COO of Broadcast Cory V. Vidanes, as well as the network’s head of TV Production and Star Magic’s head Laurenti Dyogi.

Vidanes shared his emotional set of congratulations for the renowned P-pop group, stating “Congratulations and thank you very much. Thank you for your continued trust in ABS-CBN. You trusted us from the day each of you auditioned for BINI until today that we signed our new contract.”

“This contract is very important to all of you and to all of us because this is a commitment to our shared goal of world-class excellence. Congratulations on all your successes. We are very proud of who you have become and all that you have achieved. You have proven to be amazing, authentic and empowered women with excellent talent and big hearts that are filled with love to share to everybody. BINI, you are very special and you have become a part of Pinoy culture. You have won the hearts of millions of Filipinos worldwide. You rightfully deserve to be called our Nation’s Girl Group and the pride of Filipinos,” she added.

In addition to the abundance of well-wishes shared for BINI, Vidanes also took to the stage to express the network’s commitment to look after the group’s eight members. “To be here to hold your hands, to guide you, to support you, maasahan niyo ‘yan. To your parents and your families, thank you for trusting us through the years with your girls. Salamat,” she mentioned.

As the members of the group expressed their gratitude to both the network and their fanbase of Blooms, they also went on to announce several new projects and ventures –– which include the release of a brand new EP (scheduled for release this 2025), as well as more stops for their upcoming world tour, a Philippine concert, new music videos, a celebration of ‘BINI Day’, their Anniversary Fan Meet, new merchandise, the group’s participation in ABS-CBN’s All-Star Games, as well as ‘Miniverse’ (the latter of which still remains quite unclear.)

Just recently, BINI were chosen by Billboard Philippines as the Philippine cover star for Billboard‘s Global No. 1s campaign –– wherein they got candid about their five-year journey in the music scene, how they’ve dealt with the changes of their fame, what made 2024 their year, and what legacy they hope to leave behind on the OPM scene.
