This week, rising star Dionela has more than one work of art on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100.

The young hitmaker initially made his debut on the chart at No. 74 for the week of July 6 with “sining” — his collaborative single with R&B icon Jay R. Since then, the heartfelt track has continued to receive widespread success and love from listeners, ultimately launching Dionela and Jay R onto the Hot 100’s coveted No. 1 spot on the week of August 3, 2024.

Ultimately, the rising popularity of the track has also entranced curious listeners to dive into the rest of Dionela’s discography, enabling some of his other tracks to enter the Hot 100’s rankings as well. This week, Billboard Philippines shines a spotlight on these tracks.

Oksihina

Making a huge leap from No. 87 to No. 68 this week is “Oksihina.” Being Dionela’s only single from 2023, it serves as a proclamation of undying devotion to a special someone — the very reason why they live and breathe.

Musika

At No. 37 this week is “Musika” — a track that likens one’s lover to being the only song that their heart sings. Despite being released all the way back in September 2022, “Musika” proves that good music is timeless, with its heartfelt lyrics effectively reeling in millions of listeners, alongside its simple yet catchy, piano-driven melodies.

Hoodie (featuring Alisson Shore)

At No. 31 is “Hoodie” — a collaboration with hip-hop/pop hitmaker Alisson Shore. Released last February 23, “Hoodie” explores the state of simply being so in love with someone to the point that every little thing they do is just breathtaking.

Sining (featuring Jay R)

Of course, at No. 1 on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 for the third week row is “sining” with Jay R. Having successfully captured the hearts of millions of listeners since its release last June 7, “sining” narrates a magical kind of love that firmly withstands the test of time, much like a superb work of art.
