This week’s update on the Billboard Philippines‘ Top Philippine Songs Chart (dated August 17, 2024) sees two new entries within the Top 25 Filipino tracks in the country — James Reid‘s “Randomantic” and Cup of Joe‘s “Misteryoso.”

James Reid’s 2015 single makes its debut at an impressive spot of No. 16, while Cup of Joe’s latest single finds a snug place at No. 20. This marks the latter’s second entry in the Top Philippine Songs chart, following after their 2023 hit “Tingin” featuring Janine Tenoso which jumps to No. 11 from its hold at No. 13 last week.

As the Top 10 of the Top Philippine Songs chart remains largely unchanged, Dionela and Jay R still hold the coveted position of No. 1 with “Sining”, while Maki’s “Dilaw” stays hot on its heels at the No. 2 spot. BINI continue to dominate the majority of the Top 10, with “Salamin, Salamin” still at No. 3, “Pantropiko” at No. 5, “Karera” at No. 7, and “Lagi” at No. 10. Their recently released single, “Cherry On Top,” goes up to No. 4 –– marking a step up from holding the No. 5 over the past three weeks.

TJ Monterde’s “Palagi,” Eliza Maturan’s “Museo,” and Hev Abi’s “Walang Alam” still retain their positions at the No. 6, No. 8, and No. 9 spots respectively –– Over October’s “Ikot,” which rises four spots to No. 14, following its recent peak at No. 18. Mrld’s “Sandali” also jumps up two spots to No. 21, following its re-entry on the chart last week at No. 23.
