This week, Hale have gained another entry on the Billboard Philippines Top Philippine Songs.

On January 22, 2025, Billboard Philippines revealed its chart rankings for the week of January 25, 2025. For the Top Philippine Songs chart, a new entry comes in the form of Hale’s “Kung Wala Ka” as it makes its debut on the chart at No. 24 this week. It joins the veteran rock band’s other fan-favorite track “The Day You Said Good Night” as it also ranks on the chart at No. 18 this week.

The single was originally released in 2005, serving as the fourth single from the band’s self-titled debut album, which came out the same year. Since its release almost 20 years ago, the heartache-fueled track continues to resonate with Filipino listeners of all generations, becoming a timeless hit that continues to dominate airwaves and playlists to this day.

For the Billboard Philippines Top Philippine Songs’ top 10, Dionela continues to dominate the chart as “Marilag” maintains its uncontested hold on the No. 1, followed by “sining” with Jay R at No. 2, while his 2023 hit “Oksihina” also holds its spot at No. 4. Meanwhile, TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan’s “Palagi” remains at No. 3 while Maki’s “Dilaw” also maintains it position at No. 5 this week.

Elsewhere on the top 10, Arthur Nery’s “Isa Lang” moves to No. 6, while Up Dharma Down’s “Tadhana” and Robledo Timido’s “Gusto Ko Sakin Ka Lang” maintain their hold on the No. 8 and No. 9 spots respectively. In addition, Cup of Joe also maintain two spots on the chart this week, as “Tingin” with Janine Teñoso is at No. 7, while “Misteryoso” moves to No. 10 to round up the chart’s top 10.

Billboard Philippines‘ Top Philippine Songs chart is the country’s music chart that focuses exclusively on Filipino songs, spotlighting the most notable as well as fast-rising musical acts and their songs from all over the Philippines. On a weekly basis, it ranks the top 25 tracks in the country based on both audio and streaming data compiled by leading music and entertainment data provider Luminate.
