To celebrate the first anniversary of Olivia Dean‘s acclaimed sophomore record, The Art of Loving, fans of the “Man I Need” hitmaker are in for a treat in the form of a special afternoon of creativity, crafting, and community.
Organized by Olivia Dean Philippines, “The Art of Crafting” will take place on September 26, 2026, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at UNWND Boutique Hotel Makati.
The fan-made gathering will feature a tote bag workshop and listening experience inspired by Dean’s acclaimed sophomore album.
Released on September 26, 2025, The Art of Loving consists of 12 tracks, written by Dean herself, along with collaborations with songwriters and producers. The record is a mix of pop and R&B, also incorporating elements of pop and neo-soul, bossa nova, jazz pop, and Motown sound.
The breakout album’s title took inspiration from American painter Mickalene Thomas’ art exhibition All About Love, which was in response to the books written by bell hooks (Gloria Jean Watkins). The songs go through different aspects of love, from romantic and platonic love to self-love.
In November 2025, multiple songs from the record appeared on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100. Her viral hit single “Man I Need” reached a new peak at No. 5, while “So Easy (To Fall In Love)” climbed to No. 14. Dean also earned another entry on the chart with “A Couple of Minutes,” which debuted at No. 76.
