The Dune: Part Three releases its official teaser trailer — featuring a chant performed by none other than Hollywood star and franchise lead Timothée Chalamet.

The third and final installment of Denis Villeneuve’s acclaimed sci-fi cinematic trilogy, Dune: Part Three, is set 17 years into the reign of Paul Atreides (Chalamet) as Padishah Emperor.

It is set to adapt Dune Messiah by Frank Hebert, the second installment of his series of Dune novels. Messiah is set 12 years after the first Dune novel, which the first and second films in the trilogy adapted.

Little is known about the film’s official synopsis; however, Dune Messiah, the novel, was written by Herbert as a way to combat readers’ perception of Paul as a hero. The third film in the trilogy will slowly showcase Paul’s descent into becoming a flawed leader who is blinded by faith and consumed by absolute power, which triggers a holy war.

The trailer features the Oscar-nominated actor’s haunting Fremen war chant, as confirmed by the film’s composer, Hans Zimmer, against the backdrop of glimpses depicting battle sequences, as well as new and familiar faces.

The star-studded cast reunites Zendaya as Chani, Jason Momoa as Duncan Idaho, Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan, Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica, Charlotte Rampling as Reverend Mother Mohiam, Anya Taylor-Joy as Alia Atreides, Javier Bardem as Stilgar, and Josh Brolin as Gurney Halleck.
