This is the moment Spotify users and music lovers have been waiting for all year. The 2025 Spotify Wrapped is finally here!
The 2025 edition of the viral marketing campaign was first teased with the caption “Who do you think is on your Wrapped?” on November 29, 2025, with a series of Spotify logos highlighting different artists through various colors and aesthetics.
“We’re bringing back the fan-favorite features you know and love, and adding bold new experiences that spotlight the way you listened this year,” shares Marc Hazan, Spotify’s Senior Vice President of Global Marketing & Partnerships.
This year, users can expect something new. Spotify is introducing the mobile-exclusive Wrapped Party. This allows users to dive into their Wrapped alongside their family and friends and celebrate the music that defined their year. To join, users can access the Wrapped hub on the Spotify app and search “Wrapped Party.”
To make things more fun, users can play with up to nine of their friends for some healthy live competition with their listening data. You can know more about the newest addition to the Wrapped experience here.
Another new feature is Listening Age, which compares users’ musical taste to others in the same age group. Top Albums is a Fan Leaderboard for a listener’s top artists, while Clubs places and sorts them into Spotify’s six listening styles. Returning features include playlists for Top Songs and Top Genre, as well as the Top Song Quiz.
This 2025 Wrapped also ranks the year’s biggest global artists. In the top 10, Bad Bunny takes the coveted No. 1 spot, while Taylor Swift comes in second, and The Weeknd rounds out the podium finish.
Meanwhile, the biggest songs that have received the most streams globally in 2025 are “Die with a Smile” by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars in first, “Birds of a Feather” by Billie Eilish in second, and “APT.” by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars in third.
Additionally, the global top 10 albums of the year include DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS by Bad Bunny, KPop Demon Hunters by KPop Demon Hunters Cast, HUNTR/X, Saja Boys, and HIT ME HARD AND SOFT by Billie Eilish, rounding out the top three.
Since 2016, Spotify Wrapped has served as the platform’s annual recap for users. It is typically released in late November or early December and compiles data on a user’s listening activity, including top songs and artists, favorite genres, and overall listening habits. Presented in an interactive, visually engaging format accessible through the app, Spotify Wrapped has become a popular way for users to explore, celebrate, and show off their music taste.
