PinkPantheress is entering her acting era as she is set to star in the upcoming untitled feature film from the Everything Everywhere All at Once directing duo, the Daniels (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert).
The “Stateside” singer joins previously announced cast members Matt Damon, Sandra Oh, Charles Melton, Sean Kaufman, Silvia Dionicio, Jackson Kelly, Kerrice Brooks, Thalia Dudek, and Michael Gandolfini.
The Academy Award-winning filmmakers are making their comeback on the big screen with the untitled “event” film produced by Universal Pictures, currently slated for a theatrical release in November 2027. As of this writing, plot and character details have yet to be announced.
The duo also directed 2016’s Swiss Army Man, starring Daniel Radcliffe and Paul Dano.
The announcement follows the British artist’s nominations at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards in February. She was nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Album for her mixtape Fancy That and Best Dance Pop Recording for the track “Illegal.”
Meanwhile, at the 2026 BRIT Awards, she won Producer of the Year, becoming the first woman and youngest artist to ever receive the award.
In March, the remix version of PinkPantheress’ “Stateside” featuring Zara Larsson entered the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart. The song surged in popularity thanks to American Olympic figure skater Alysa Liu performing the figure skating exhibition gala at the 2026 Winter Olympics set to the track.
